The Story Behind Chapter 33 & Cover Art
Chapter 33 is a declaration of arrival—witnessed by the people and the faith that carried me here.
The people standing behind me are not models.
They are my actual family beginning with my grandmother and extending to the youngest of my cousins.
Together, they form my living family tree.
These are the people who knew every chapter of Faith Callender before the public ever did.
They invested in my career, encouraged me, corrected me, supported me and helped keep my dreams alive but their impact extends far beyond music.
Through their values, sacrifices and examples, they helped shape the woman I am today.
They are not standing behind me because my journey is greater than theirs.
Each person has a story, purpose and path of their own.
They stand with me because what they poured into my life now travels forward through me.
The three crosses represent the sacrifice, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. At 33, I entered what many call a “Jesus year”
a season that represents far more than my age.
A chapter of spiritual awakening, transformation, and elevation.
This chapter holds the end of one version of my life and the beginning of another.
It holds sacrifice before elevation, being misunderstood, tested and publicly judged, surrendering older versions of myself,
and discovering greater clarity of purpose through pain.
The cloudy skies acknowledge that difficult seasons have existed and will continue to present themselves.
They have not been erased from my story, but the light breaking through them represents the openness, possibility, and divine direction that remained.
I am moving forward: alive, becoming and carrying everything I have learned into what comes next.
Chapter 33 is the moment I stopped seeing my story as a collection of disconnected struggles.
I began to recognize that every person, sacrifice, loss, lesson and act of faith was preparing me to walk more fully in purpose.
The music reflects that entire journey.
It is inspirational and aspirational, but it is also unapologetic, vulnerable, and raw. It reveals the woman beneath and before the brand—not simply an artist standing here because she is talented, but a woman shaped by family, community, spiritual covering, difficult chapters and her own decision to keep moving.
